How do you get MDS?

You can get MDS from exposure to radiation or certain chemicals.

MDS is a rare blood disorder that develops in your bone marrow, the soft tissue inside some of your bones. The bone marrow produces blood cells, including red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. MDS affects the ability of your bone marrow to produce normal numbers of each type of blood cell, leading to anemia and problems with other blood cells.
